About PIWC Toledo

Our Mission
To bring all people to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through the proclamation of the gospel, the planting of churches and the equipping of believers for every God-glorifying service.
Our Vision
To build a church where members are united in love, rooted in the Word, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to impact our community and the world for Christ. We envision a home for all nations, reflecting the diversity of God's kingdom.
Our Core Values
We are guided by Faith, Holiness, Love, Integrity, and Excellence in all we do. We believe in the power of prayer and the authority of Scripture as the foundation of our faith and practice.

Our Community & Affiliation

PIWC Toledo is a proud member of The Church of Pentecost USA, Inc., under the Ohio Region. We are part of the vibrant Detroit District, a community of churches working together to spread the gospel.

Our district family includes several assemblies: PIWC Detroit, PIWC Lansing, PIWC Grand Rapids, Detroit Central, Ann Arbor PIWC, and the PENSA chapter at Bowling Green State University (BGSU). Together, we support one another and collaborate on regional initiatives to build a stronger, spirit-filled community across the region.

The Tenets of The Church of Pentecost

The Tenets of the Church

The Bible: We believe the Holy Scriptures are divinely inspired and the final authority for our faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16).

The One True God: We believe in one God, the Creator, who exists as a Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Man's Depraved Nature: We believe all humanity has sinned, fallen short of God’s glory, and is in need of salvation (Romans 3:23).

The Saviour: We believe humanity’s need for a Saviour was met in Jesus Christ, who was crucified for our sins, resurrected, and now intercedes for us (John 3:16; Romans 8:34).

Repentance, Regeneration, Justification & Sanctification: We believe all must repent and be justified by faith in Jesus Christ, which begins a lifelong process of sanctification (Acts 2:38; Romans 5:1).

The Ordinances (Sacraments) of the Church: We believe in Water Baptism by immersion and the regular commemoration of the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20).

Baptism, Gifts & Fruit of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and the operation of spiritual gifts and fruit (Acts 2:4; Galatians 5:22-23).

Divine Healing: We believe that healing for sickness is provided for in Christ’s atonement and is a privilege for all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24).

Tithes and Offerings: We believe in tithing and giving free-will offerings to support the Kingdom of God (Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38).

The Second Coming and the Next Life: We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and a final judgment (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Marriage and Family life: We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman, forming the foundation of the family and society.
